Fund Raising
Crick Playing Field Association is entirely funded from grants, donations and income received from events such as the weekly Car Boot Sales, income from the car park and hire of the pavilion
The upkeep of existing equipment and our plans for the future mean that we are always on the lookout for additional funding
Upkeep of the Playing Field
This includes grass cutting, weeding and strimming and regular inspections and repairs to our play equipment to ensure that it remains safe
Replacement Equipment and new facilities
The majority of the money that we raise goes towards replacing equipment that has become old, worn-out or unsafe and also towards investing in completely new equipment for the enjoyment of all of Crick’s young people
Our planned pump-track is a good example of this investment., The cost of the pump track is likely to be close to £100k which is a huge challenge to a small organisation like the playing field. We need our residents to support this initiative but realistically we also need the support of local business and grant funding organisations to make it happen
We are about to launch a fund-raising campaign for the pump track and will be writing to all of the local businesses including those based at DIRFT. If you know of any organisation that might like to get involved please let us know via our emails address – [email protected]
